This humble work reflects the author’s desire to help Criminology students by disseminating reliable knowledge. The Table of Specifications for the Criminologists Board Examination served as a model for the construction of this Module First aid water safety. Emergency care can potentially address half of the deaths and one-third of disabilities in our family circle, community, and our country. First aid is the temporary care given to an ill or injured person while waiting for expert assistance. It goes beyond providing basic life support and includes actions taken to preserve life, lessen suffering, stop further disease or injury, and encourage recovery. Further, health risks, particularly cumulative stress, food-, water-, and insect-borne diseases, accidents, and injuries are the main risk factors in any disaster environment. In addition, a collapsing structure and the surrounding water environment could be harmful. In order to prepare trained individuals and criminology students for emergencies such as accidents or sudden illnesses, this module provided the fundamental concepts and techniques of first aid, which are based on practical medicine. This will also increase individual first-aid training expertise.
