The topics discussed in the book address the essential concepts of investigation and intelligence, which are crucial in law enforcement. The authors are both current law enforcement officers who understand the importance of understanding the fundamentals of investigation and intelligence as they are applied to law enforcement. The authors, both accredited professors at the Philippine Public Safety College (PPSC) and the Philippine National Police Training Institute (PNPTI), designed the book to educate students, professors/instructors, and law enforcement practitioners in the conduct of successful investigations. The book’s content has been gathered from the firsthand experiences of seasoned investigators, making it more realistic and relevant to the demands of law enforcement learners. It is believed that by using this book, law enforcement officers and aspiring law enforcement officers can receive better classroom instruction, resulting in more competent and reputable law enforcement personnel.
