Introduction to Criminology

This book “Introduction to Criminology” is aligned with the course description and course outline of CHED Memorandum Order No. 05 series of 2018. Likewise it is in accordance with the Professional Regulatory Board of Criminology of the Professional Regulation Commission’s Table of Specifications. The topics are discussed in a chronological order for better comprehension of educators and learners as well. Learning objectives are included at the beginning of each chapter so that expectations are set. Various assessments are given at the end to validate if the objectives are met. The book consists of eight (8) chapters that focuses on all important topics needed to be learned in the first year. The authors fervently hope that this body of work will help criminology students achieve their dreams and aspirations as future professionals.
