Sustainable tourism has been one of the buzzwords in the world today as we slowly open the door of the tourism industry after the hard lockdowns due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This is not new to many as we have been adopting and practicing the parent concept of sustainable tourism since 1980s. With high hopes to bounce back better as an industry, the tourism stakeholders also hope to embrace and consistently live the principles of sustainability, not just to lure guests but most importantly, to showcase the cream of the crop or the sites’ tourism potentials in the most sustainable way. Due to the popularity of the concept of sustainable tourism, there were many seasoned authors who launched their books related to sustainable tourism which also became the authors’ inspiration and resources in completing this textbook. There are also many higher educational institutions that are currently restructuring their syllabus and shifting to a different learning modality responsive to the needs of time. With all these, the authors came up with this textbook to provide an updated, condensed version of related materials, concise, and handy textbook for students, educators, and stakeholders. The authors are hoping that this textbook will contribute to the pool of knowledge of the readers.
