Crime causation studies the different causes of delinquent and criminal behavior. This provides various and complex theories derived from different areas or fields of study that are related to Criminology and helps people better understand why criminals behave the way they do. This also helps individuals understand the factors that influence people’s decisions to commit crimes or anti-social acts which in turn would help them come up with different solutions to prevent if not eradicate the crime problems.
